EmLogic and UVVM Featured in the First Edition of FPGA Horizon Journal

– and on Stage at the UK’s First FPGA Conference

We’re proud to share that EmLogic and UVVM are featured in the first-ever edition of the FPGA Horizon Journal, a new international publication dedicated to advancing FPGA technology and development practices.

In the article on pages 30–31, UVVM is highlighted as one of the most widely used verification methodologies for VHDL-based FPGA designs. The piece explores how UVVM enables structured, reusable, and highly efficient verification, helping teams reduce development time and improve quality across complex FPGA projects. It also acknowledges EmLogic’s key role in the development and ongoing evolution of UVVM.

But that’s not all — EmLogic also had the honor of presenting UVVM live on stage during the FPGA Horizons Conference, held in the UK. This event marked a milestone as the first dedicated FPGA conference of its kind in the United Kingdom, bringing together engineers, researchers, and industry leaders to share insights and innovations in the FPGA space.

Our presentation focused on how UVVM empowers teams to build robust verification environments with minimal effort, and how it continues to evolve to meet the needs of modern FPGA development.

Being featured in the journal and invited to speak at the conference is a strong recognition of EmLogic and of the impact UVVM has had — and continues to have — in the global FPGA community.
